Father. Husband.Developer. Mentor.

It always comes back to people.

I put father and husband first because that’s honestly the order they matter in. Developer and mentor come right after. Between them, they’ll tell you more about me than my job title ever will.

I’m an Engineering Manager at Agoda, and I write production code most weeks. I like it that way. I’ve worked in banking, fintech, retail, travel, and real estate, and the same thing keeps pulling me back in every one of them: build something people actually use, and help the people building it get better along the way.

I was building things before anyone paid me to.

While studying Information Technology at my alma mater, I co-founded a campus company, CoSys. I was also a college magazine editor and a college fest coordinator. Making things happen was already how I spent my time.

In 2014, I was an Asia regional finalist in the TiE International Business Plan Competition. I’ve never really shaken that itch: taking an idea and turning it into something people can actually use.

After CoSys came ScrewNWrench. Now I’m building One Inheritance as a side project. There has almost always been something in progress alongside the day job.

Some of the work I’m proudest of was unpaid.

Volunteering was part of my life before and during college. With Drishya Bharti, I built and maintained the NGO’s website and helped manage the supply chain for books for underprivileged students.

I also worked on education projects for the Government of India through MNIT and MHRD: a library book procurement system, MNIT’s website, and the NIT Council platform connecting students and institutions. The NIT Council website ↗ is still in use.

It usually starts with “can I ask you something?”

Since 2023, I’ve helped 20 developers find the career direction and promotion they were looking for. Sometimes the conversation starts with where to go next. Sometimes it’s about making the work they’re already doing count.

Helping junior teammates was part of my early engineering roles, and I never stopped. Now I keep time on the calendar for it: one person, one conversation, whatever they’re stuck on.
