What this does and does not do

Asks the provider for your public profile and your email address. Nothing else.
Creates an account here identified by an opaque id, not by a name I can read.
Lets you comment, react, save reading, and write to me directly.
Uses the address to reply to you and to send you a link — never a mailing list, and never passed on.
Does not post anything anywhere, ever.
